Past:
This summer Jim and Shelley Ellerston joined us at the Ringsted, IA All-class High School
Reunion at the end of June. We sang briefly at the talent show, and then led the worship service on Sunday. The
next evening we traveled to Ft. Dodge, IA to perform at First United Methodist Church of Ft. Dodge. In August the four
of us were joined by Christopher Ellerston on the cello at the Beltrami County Fair in Bemidji. Chris' cello on bluegrass
was an unique and welcome addition.
The Other Mountain Remnant played the Relay for Life of Teller County at the Woodland Park
CSCS campus in August. The Celtic set provided background for the time of remembrance and the first hour's walk.
Jean and Jim are currently singing and playing with the worship team at the Little Chapel of
the Hills in Divide. In October, we provided music during the Food Shelf dinner at the Little Chapel.
NEXT:
We will be continuing with the worship
team. We will also be at the December Food Shelf dinner. Looking to 2012, we anticipate performing once again
at the Beltrami Fair in Bemidji during the month of August.
