She has a B.A. in Music Education from Central College, Pella, Iowa, an M.A. in Flute Performance from the
College of New Jersey, and an Elementary Education Certification from the University of Iowa. A member of the National
Flute Association, Jean has taught privately for 30 years as well as having Early Education experience in Head Start and public
school teaching experience.
