Who we are:
Jean and Jim love to sing and play music for themselves and
for others. Together with other musicians in Laramie, Wyoming they founded The Other Mountain Band. Prior to their
move to Bemidji, Minnesota, The Other Mountain Band performed at Gospelgrass festivals; Masonville, Colorado Gospel Festivals;
Laramie's Freedom Has a Birthday; the Happy Jack Bluegrass Festival; anniversary parties; church services; funerals; and
community events in Colorado, Wyoming, Iowa, and New Mexico. Pictured below is a performance from 2005, with Kyle and
Dan, two members of The Other Mountain Band.

We enjoy performing bluegrass, gospel and Celtic music. Jim
plays the guitar and Jean plays the mandolin and flute. Now and then Jim Ellerston, from Fort Dodge, Iowa is our guest
fiddler. Recent performances include the Beltrami County (MN) Fair, the Polk County (MN) fair, residential care
centers, church services, Ten Mile Lake parties, and Irish dinners.
